Waterville Valley, tucked away in the White Mountain National
Forest of New Hampshire, is offering "wicked long weekends"
this coming season. They work like this: for the same price
as a regular two-night, nonholiday weekend ski/stay package,
guests can check in as early as 12:30 p.m., and ski Friday
afternoon.
As an added perk, Waterville is throwing in a late 3 p.m., Sunday
afternoon checkout time so guests don't have to waste valuable
morning ski and ride time packing up the car.
Rates for the Wicked Long Weekend packages start at US$89
per person, double occupancy in December and US$158 pp/do
January through March. All rates include health club access
and ice skating.
For those who prefer an even longer weekend, Waterville
offers 50 percent off a Sunday night stay over. On Monday,
the ski area's "two for one" lift ticket special kicks in.
Nonholidays, of course.
This affordable, value-added ski/stay package should prove
to be popular with skiers and riders this season.
