August 17th 2010 12:48
Whitewater Ski Resort's Glory Ridge triple chairlift installation
project and new trail clearing is underway. The used
Doppelmayr triple chairlift was purchased from Vail and shipped
north to the resort.
Knee Deep Development Corporation--Whitewater's owners--
have given the green light to create eight new runs and
gladed terrain for this coming season. Trail clearing is
presently underway under the auspices of Juggernaut
Development Inc.
New trail cutting in the Backside area will take place over two
summer construction seasons. When completed, the resort
hopes to offer 18 new trails of intermediate and expert terrain
served by the Glory Ridge Chairlift.
