WATERVILLE VALLEY SPLURGES ON SNOWMAKING

October 4th 2009 12:53
Waterville Valley in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest
splurged on snowmaking improvements for this coming ski season.
Skiers and riders will find 40 new tower snowguns blasting out
the white gold on the "Chute" and "White Caps" trails.

Part of the ski area's US$600,000 spending spree included a new
Prinoth 350 grooming machine and new rails and boxes for the
popular Exhibition terrain park.

A new deal for frugal skiers and riders is the opportunity to
save US$10 on every lift ticket by purchasing at least
48 hours in advance online.

Waterville's much awaited opening day is November 21.
