TWO NEW LIFTS FOR SUMMIT AT SNOQUALMIE

August 20th 2010 15:14
This summer two new chairlifts are being strung up the
sides of the Summit at Snoqualmie ski area. The Pacific
northwest ski area is planning to open the long abandoned backside
of the mountain dubbed "The Hidden Valley" with the
addition of the new double chairlift.

Hidden Valley will feature 65 acres of predominantly intermediate
and advanced skiing and riding, with a few genuinely steep shots
to enjoy.

Snoqualmie's new triple chairlift, the "East Peak Triple" is located on the front side of the mountain. Another 95 acres or so, of new terrain will be

now be lift-served in this area.

The local buzz line is humming these days as skiers and riders
anxiously await the opening bell for these two new lifts.
