Australia's Thredbo ski area has an exciting new freeriding
attraction this season: The Monster Bagjump. Imagine
launching yourself off a giant hit and not having to worry
about the pain of landing on snow.
The landing area is a forgiving 20 x 20 metre air cushion
below the hit located near the Supertrail. Participants
will be required to attend a brief safety course before
launching into thin air.
Also at Thredbo, season passes are still available at
substantial savings until the rates increase on June 8.
The A$46 Thredbo Club is back again this season. People
who join the club receive A$13 off on day tickets, 15 percent
off lodging at the Thredbo Alpine Hotel, and discounts on dining,
movie tickets, retail and seasonal lesson programs.
