THEY'RE SKIING IN NORTH CAROLINA

While Vermont only has one ski resort open today--the
mighty "Beast of the East" Killington, North Carolina
has two mountains open, with natural snow to boot.
Sugar Mountain is offering skiing and riding on two trails
served by on lift. The ski area received three inches of
new natural snow in the past 72 hours. Base depths
on groomed conditions ranch from six to 20 inches.
Over at Cataloochee Mountain, early-season skiers and
riders are enjoying three trails served by two lifts. Ten
inches of snow has fallen over the past 72 hours, increasing
the skiable base depths from from six to 12 inches.
Stay tuned, more resorts throughout North America are
expected to open by this coming weekend.
Could be a good time to book an early season, off price
Thanksgiving week ski and ride getaway.
