New Hampshire's Tenney Mountain is operating for the
second season under the auspices of White Mountain
Explorations, an adventure sport outfitter. This year,
they are renting fully furnished, heated yurts at the ski
area for US$300 per day.
The yurts accommodate up to 10 people and are equipped
with a restroom, BBQ and plenty of food to grill up during the
day.
This year, other activities offered at Tenney include snowshoeing
and sledding with a guide if desired.
Lift ticket rates are US50 on weekends and holidays and
drops to $25 midweek.
