SUNDAY RIVER MEGA PASS
October 26th 2009 19:56
Well, ski area marketing directors have come up with all kinds of names
for their season pass products, from "gold" to "ultimate" passes. Now it's,
the are you ready for this? The "Mega Pass,"brought to you by Maine's
Sunday River.
Here's the deal: part with US$2,900 in exchange for unlimited seasonal
lift access at Sunday River, Sugarloaf and Loon Mountain. Throw
in unlimited "preferred parking," snow tubing, unlimited tune-ups for
your equipment (that's a nice) retail discounts, two days of "First
Tracks" early lift access and a seasonal equipment locker for your use.
Pricey, but nice perks for those who can take advantage of using
them. If you like, you could have your equipment tuned, or at least
hot waxed every day!
The Sunday River brain trust came up with this Mega Pass deal
to promote their 50th birthday bash on December 19.
Personally, I'd like a season ticket to the over-priced cafeterias and
restaurants--kinda like a college meal plan--to compliment my lift
access.
