SNOW BASIN POISED FOR GROWTH

June 22nd 2010 13:22
Snow Basin, where many of the '02 Olympic events were
held, has submitted a master plan for expansion. The plan
calls for a new entry portal to cut drive time from Salt Lake
City, 2,400 residential units, terrain expansion, an ice skating
rink and more summer attractions to cite a few things.

One of owner Earl Holding's collection of Sun Valley
Resorts, Snow Basin is a favorite for skiers and riders who
appreciate a quality vacation experience.

The master plan covers a 50 year time period, if it is approved.
Most of the new residential and hotel units are planned for

the land near the base lodge.
