SKIING HERITAGE WEEK

For those with an interest in the rich history of skiing, the
International Skiing History Association will be hosting a
full week of ski history activities April 8 through April 15,
2012.
This year's Skiing Heritage Week theme will focus on the
reach contribution northwestern United States ski areas
and individuals made to the sport.
The ski week begins in Portland, Oregon and concludes
in Seattle, Washington with ski stops at Timberline, Mount
Hood Meadows, White Pass, Stevens Pass, Crystal Mountain
and the Summit at Snoqualmie.
Days will be filled with skiing, sometimes along sides legends
within the skiing world while evening activities feature banquets,
lectures and films.
This year there will be a special tribute the K2 ski company
A full week's worth of skiing, lodging and activities start at
US$1,585. Ala carte pick and choose options are also available
for participants.
