SKI JUMPING FESTIVAL

September 13th 2011 13:33
What could be better for skiers and riders to stoke up
for the rapidly approaching ski season then a weekend
of serious ski jumping, BBQ, live bands and brews?

On the weekend of October 8 through 9, Lake Placid
will once again be staging their popular Flaming
Leaves Festival at the Olympic Jumping Complex.

North America's top ski jumpers will be flying off the jumps,
chefs will be grilling, bands will be playing and suds will
be a'pourin'.

A two-day festival pass is only US$25 and includes rides
up the 120-meter ski jump's elevator. Great view of the

Adirondack High Peaks from up there, especially when
the foliage is peaking.
