PENN SKI AREAS PUMP UP

December 8th 2009 19:43
Eight Pennsylvania ski areas have pumped up their snowmaking
systems for this season. Without extensive and expensive
snowmaking systems there would be very little alpine skiing
and snowboarding in the Keystone State.

Over the past two seasons, Camelback Mountain Resort has
added an impressive 177 new snowguns whjile down at
Whitetail Resort they've added 24.

Hidden Valley has completely automated their snowmaking
system. Automating snowmaking systems save on energy and
labor costs.

Both Liberty Mountain and Ski Roundtop have expanded their

automated snowmaking systems. Tussey mountain and
Elk Mountain have both installed new snowguns.

Last but not least, Blue Knob has upgraded their snowmaking
system for this season.
