PATS PEAK SPENDING SPREE
July 21st 2010 14:21
New Hampshire's Pats Peak Ski Area has gone on a half a million
dollar spending spree this summer. Snowmaking operations
has received a big push with the purchase of 12 HKD tower
snow guns and six fan guns.
The snowmaking pipeline on the Duster trail has been replaced
to insure earlier top-to-bottom skiing and riding earlier in the
season.
Up top, there's a new impressive building for the ski patrol to
store their first aid gear in and to hang out on cold days and nights.
Down at the base, the lodge had the carpeting replaced and the rental
shop got a transfusion of new rental equipment. Last but not least,
Pats purchased a few new Pisten Bully 400 Park Snow Groomers
to maintain the area's terrain parks better
