OKEMO'S NEW TERRAIN PARK BARKS

January 20th 2010 12:25
There's an abundance of bark in the form of fallen timbers built
into Vermont's Okemo Mountain new terrain park. Located off
of the Upper Arrow ski trail, the new Broken Arrow terrain park
is set between the trees.

Built out of logs and traditional materials, the new features
include: Wall Rides, up-down jibs, flat-down jibs, flat logs
and tree stump jibs.

Last season, Killington lead the way in terrain park design
by using natural materials and gladed terrain in their popular
"Stash" terrain park. Now, other ski areas are playing
catch-up.
