NEW TURNS IN SKI INSTRUCTION
August 31st 2009 13:32
Video taping as a ski instructional tool has been around for decades but
Sugarbush in Vermont is taking it a step further this season.
After a student's ski lesson is all said and done for the day,
student's will still have access to their ski instructor online.
Instructors plan to post video recordings of their students'
lessons on a private account website with a move-by-move
commentary, similar to televised football games' instant
replay device.
Students can ask their instructors questions online by web cam.
Discussions will revolve about how technique can be improved.
It's kinda nice after a ski trip is over to be able to relive your lesson
experience online, back at the office.
