When Italy's Val Gardena opens on December 4, skiers
and riders will see a new funicular railway. The funicular
system replaces an old chairlift on Mount Rasciesa.
The comfortable, bright red funicular cars will transport
customers within eight minutes from Ortisea up the
slopes of Mount Rasciesa.
Val Gardena is looking forward to another exciting season
of skiing and riding with a host of World Cup and regional
events on the calender.
