MT HOOD MEADOWS EXTENDS SEASON

April 28th 2010 18:19
Yet another U.S. ski area has extended its season into
mid May. Oregon's Mt. Hood Meadows plans to operate
through May 16 on a weekends only basis.

Current base depths are reported as 114 inches with a recent
four inches of new snowfall. This weekend three lifts are
expected to spin: Buttercup, Cascade and the Mt. Hood Express.

Limited food service will be available this weekend and kid's
ski lessons/childcare will operate by reservation only.
