To get people pumped for the soon to be here ski and
ride season, Quebec's Mont Sutton is running a string
of Festival d'automne weekend festivals through October
16.
Every weekend through mid-October there will be jazz
bands, singers, giant puppet shows, BBQs, preseason
conditioning classes, zip rides and even yoga classes
on the mountain.
As the color of autumn splashes across the mountains
of Quebec's Eastern Township, Mont Sutton will be
running scenic chairlift rides to take riders up to the
mountain top.
Near Mount Sutton are a string of small
wineries--with free tasting rooms--to add a bit of
flavor to the taste of autumn.
Sutton is located within walking distance of the
Vermont border, a village filled with talented chefs
and chocolatiers.
