MONARCH'S ONE PLANET SEASON PASS

October 3rd 2011 20:06
The stakes in the ski area season pass game were raised
to the shall we say, planetary level, by Colorado's Monarch
Mountain recently. This modest Rocky Mountain ski area
somehow was able to cut deals with 26 other ski areas to
benefit its season pass holders.

Their new, US$339 "One Planet, One Pass" season pass
is valid at 26 other ski areas not only in Colorado but
New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, British Columbia and
across the big pond in Austria and Germany as well.

Some of the ski areas offer free lift days to Monarch
season pass holders, the others offer deeply discounted

lift tickets.

Not bad for a modest sized ski area to be able to cut a
deal like this for its pass holders and a US$339, a great
bargain indeed!

The current price is valid until November 7, after that it goes
up a bit.
