This weekend is the last chance to ski Whiteface Mountain,
in New York's Adirondacks, until winter rolls in again.
Lift tickets are bargain-basement priced at US$17 and so
is the draft beer and pizza pies they want to move out
the door before summer.
Skiing and riding will be available from the summit of
Little Whiteface down to the gondola mid-station. Downloading
to the base area will be via the eight-passenger gondola.
Down in the ski shop, winter jacket prices will be slashed in
half. If you're in need of a winter jacket or high performance
demo skis for next season, might be worth a look at the sale
