KILLINGTON SLASHES TICKET PRICES
October 1st 2009 13:44
In a surprise eastern skier market capturing move, Killington
unveiled its US$50 online lift ticket deal. Normally retailing
for $US77 to $US82, customers can purchase up to four
single day lift tickets at what the mountain calls the "K50
Ticket" rate.
The mechanics work like this: log on to Killington.com
before October 15 to purchase the fifty dollar lift tickets.
These tickets are only available online.
Of course, there is a catch: there are 17 blackout dates.
But still, if you play to ski or ride Killington four days or less
this season the online tickets are a good deal.
When you arrive at Killington, your tickets will be waiting for you
at any ticket window. Simply present a picture ID to prove
it was you who bought the K50 tickets.
You have the option of using one, two, three or four of the tickets
on any given day. That means the tickets are transferable to your
friends, but you have personally pick them up.
