KIIDS SKI FREE IN CANADA

January 28th 2010 22:16
Canadian students currently enrolled in 4th or 5th grade classes
have the opportunity to ski or snowboard for free this season.
To encourage children of that age to at least try skiing and riding,
ski areas across Canada are giving away three free lift tickets
to each eligible student with no strings attached.

Parents can enroll their children by visiting any Sport Mart,
Sport Chek, Sports Expert or Intersport Store free of charge
by filling out an application and providing proof of their
children's ages.

Or perhaps an easier way is to visit: www.snowpass.ca

to enroll.

The three free lift ticket vouchers the child receives will also
include additional coupons for substantial discounts on
rental equipment and lessons.

One may ask: "Why are ski areas willing to give my kid free
tickets?"

The answer is: the ski areas hope your child will enjoy skiing
or snowboarding throughout their lives. When they become
adults they will probably bring their children to ski or ride
as well, thereby generating a revenue stream for the entire
ski industry as a whole.
