Over the next four decades, British Columbia's Kicking Horse
Mountain Resort will be building 11 new ski lifts, an 18-hole
golf course, 20,000 lodging bed units and 4,188 acres of new
skiing terrain.
British Columbia Premier Gordon Campbell recently announced
the provincial approval of the resort's New Master Plan. "It opens
up enormous opportunities; an opportunity to build tourism, to build
this resort and to let it take the next step forward," stated Campbell.
To date, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort has invested more than C$100
million in the ski resort and stimulated another 100 million by developers
in the region.
