JIMINY PEOPLE TAKE OVER BROMLEY

June 16th 2011 13:53
In a strange ski industry turn of events, Joseph O'Donnell, the owner
of southern Vermont's Bromley Mountain has contracted with the
owners of Jiminy Peak, a nearby competitor in the Berkshire
Mountains, to manage the ski area this coming season.

The Jiminy Peak people, Brian and Tyler Fairbank also control
New Hampshire's Mount Cranmore ski area.

When the Jiminy people took over the popular Brodie Mountain--
"Kelly's Irish Alp"--they managed to alienate long-term employees
over their two year management reign. Today, Brodie is locked
up, shut down.
