JAY PEAK REOPENS

After a freak late-April eastern snow storm, Vermont's
Jay Peak ski area reopened this morning with two lifts
turning and four trails available.
Jay reports it received over 19 inches yesterday on
top of the remaining base depth. They plan to operate
throughout the weekend.
Lift tickets are priced at US$39. A lift and lodging
special is available for US$69 per person, based upon
double occupancy. Children 14 and under ski and
stay free with a paying adult.
Jay Peak is also putting on a massive Mother's
Day brunch on the 9th. Reasonable lodging and
brunch rates with scenic tram rides are offered.
