INTERNATIONAL TEAMS DESCEND UPON CORONET PEAK

July 30th 2010 14:43
It's that time of year again when international ski racing teams
invade Coronet Peak for a few weeks of hardcore on-snow
training and racing.

Both the Canadian and U'.S. Teams are already on site
making high speed turns in the Rocky Gully Race Training
Area with more teams to follow.

The World Cup caliber race teams are fond of the Coronet
Peak race courses because they utilize "snow injection"
technology which hardens the race surfaces to well, near
ice conditions. The gully's T-bar gets racers back
up the hill quickly--coaches like that.

This summer a few of the major races of note scheduled are:
the Japanese FIS Cup, the Australia New Zealand Cup and the
New Zealand Nationals.
