IN THE BERKSHIRES: CATAMOUNT DEALS
October 23rd 2009 18:21
For Berkshire Mountain skiers and riders, here's a few notable
deals from Catamount Ski Area this season:
Management has come up with the "Value Card," good for
purchases in all departments around the ski area, except
food and beverage. The way it works is: part with US$450
up front in exchange for five hundred dollars in Catamount
cash. Bottomline--a 10 percent discount on purchases.
Not a bad deal.
Here's a better scheme they've come up with. Pay for one
private lesson Monday through Thursday and they'll throw
in your lift ticket for that day. Nice deal for those interested
in private lessons.
It should be noted however, that at most medium sized, non
destination ski areas, midweek group lessons are rarely
crowded. It's not out of the ordinary to receive a private
lesson for the price of a group lesson ticket.
