HOLIDAY VALLEY'S NEW CHAIRLIFT
January 5th 2012 23:16
Holiday Valley, a powerhouse ski area in southwestern New
York state, near the Pennsylvania line, will be cutting the
ribbon on yet another, brandie new quad chairlift this Saturday,
January 7.
The new lift replaces an aging double chairlift and nearly doubles
the uphill skier/snowboarder rider per hour rate, not to mention
cutting down the transport time.
Holiday Valley invested US$650,000 on their new "SnowPine"
quad chairlift. Hardly a season goes by where this place does
not reinvest in their skiing and riding hard assets---lifts, snowmaking,
lodges.
Hear at Skiing Reviews, we are pleased to see a successful
regional ski area doing well and reinvesting funds in their property,
particularly during this harsh economic climate.
