The Subaru Freeskiing World Tours is coming to Las Lenas
Ski Resort August 25-29. Many of the world's top freeskiers
will be there competing for a US$10,000 prize.
Las Lenas has refurbished their 40-room Hotel Acuario for
this season. It was the valley's first hotel and in need of
an interior redesign and modernizing.
Also new this year is the resort's SKIDATA system which
enables guests to have their lift tickets electronically read
without having to display them. With 22 gates, the system
enables the resort ski patrol to track which lift a lost guest
used for search purposes.
A new touch for guests who rent equipment is the rental
shop's Fast Track Rental Online system. All rental forms
can be submitted online and, in theory, eliminate waiting
in rental equipment lines when on site.
