FREE SKI DAY AT BURKE MOUNTAIN
October 7th 2009 13:27
This coming season, Burke Mountain in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom
is throwing in a "free" day of skiing or snowboarding for those
who purchase a two-day weekend lift ticket, Basically it's a bonus
Friday afternoon or full day Monday ticket for those who commit to
a weekend lift ticket.
The weekend ticket with the free day added to the mix is
very reasonably priced at US$107 for non-holiday periods
and US$115 for peak holiday periods.
What's nice about Burke Mountain, due to its somewhat remote
location, its classically cut New England trails rarely get crowded
and there's reasonably priced lodging at the base of the mountain and
in the surrounding hamlets.
The mountain historically gets more natural snowfall then ski areas
further south. Not much glitz or singles scene here. It's all
about the skiing and riding.
