Yeah baby. Gotta a couple of billion Canadian dollars lying around?
If you do, contact the Fortress Investment Group, the current
owners of the Whistler Blackcomb Resort about buying the
place.

Reportedly, the resort is being shopped around with an interest
from a Russian billionaire of all things.

In 2006, the Fortress Investment Group acquired Whistler
Blackcomb from the troubled Intrawest Corporation--yet
another real estate corporation that acquired way too much
debt in the uncertain ski industry.

Now it seems with the success of the recent Olympics,

Fortress wants to shed it's prime time ski resort while
the getting is good.
