FIRST 3D SKI & SNOWBOARD MOVIE
August 19th 2010 13:08
The world's first bona fide, feature length 3D and HD ski and
snowboard movie "Light the Wick" premieres September 18
in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. If the trailer is any indicator of
what's in store for movie viewers, it's well worth the price of
admission.
Produced by Teton Gravity Research, the film features
Sammy Carlson, Seth Morrison, Rachel Burks, Wiley Miller
and other extreme skiers and riders blasting off of backcountry
cliffs, pulling off improbable aerials, and of course: impressive
falls that most people would not survive.
Filmed in locations throughout the ski world--Croatia, AK, Italy,
Steven's Pass, Washington, BC and Jackson Hole, to name
a few, this film is sure to get everyone stoked for the coming
season. Strap on the 3d shades and off you go on bone chilling
helicopter rides to wild couloirs, cliffs, wicked deep powder and
countless surprises.
If you can't make one of the showing of "Light the Wick" on the
big screen as it tours around, a DVD (with 3D glasses) can be
purchased from TGR.
I tried to upload the movie trailer without success. I guess I'm
technically challenged. But anyway, go to: tetongravityresearch.com
to check it out.
