COLORADO SKI SHOW THIS WEEKEND
November 2nd 2010 14:59
The doors to the 19th annual Colorado Ski and Snowboard
Expo open on Friday at noon. As usual the Colorado
Convention Center in Denver will be jam-packed with
exhibitors showcasing their ski areas and equipment offerings
for this season.
There will be 20,000 square-feet of sale-priced gear and
apparel displayed for sale. They'll also take in your old
tired skis and snowboards as a charitable deduction. The old
is fixed up and given to various nonprofit organizations or
recycled if your stuff is past the point of no return.
Entertainment wise, the Flying Aces Trampoline Show will be
flipping through the air along with the dudes from the MBS
Mountainboard Big Air Show. And of course, there will be
a traditional Biergarten to soothe thirsty throats.
The show runs through Sunday, November 7, wrapping up
at 6 p.m. Adult admission is US$12 and includes a free
subscription to Ski or Transworld Snowboarding Magazine.
Kids 12 and under are admitted free.
