It's that time of the year again for northern hemisphere skiers
and riders to seriously consider buying a season pass.
Yeah I know, it's June. Time for to spend bucks on summer
fun not winter. But to lock in savings..............
Whiteface and Gore Mountains in New York's Adirondack
Mountains are presently running a US$699 unlimited season
pass to both areas through June 17. On the 18th, the
price jumps to US$825. If you wait until November 19,
the price skyrockets to US$999 for the same pass.
Don't have all the cash right now? No problem. The
Whiteface/Gore people will charge your credit card
1/3 of US$699 before June 17, hit the card for another
third on July 22; and finally sock it to you again on
September 2 along with a US$27 service charge.
The Whiteface/Gore unlimited pass is a great value at
US$699 but not at the full boat US$999 tariff.
