CATSKILL MOUNTAIN BARGAINS
Windham Mountain, a popular ski area in New York's Catskills is
offering some surprising good deals on lift tickets and season
passes this season.
For skiers and riders who plan to ride the lifts at Windham on
at least three individual days throughout the 2009-10 season,
the mountain is offering a $99 "Triple Play Card" on sale now
through Labor Day.
The card is valid for three days or nights of skiing and riding,
except for holiday week blockout dates. Regular priced
day tickets will be $65 on the weekends and $50 midweek,
so the Triple Play offer is certainly a great deal.
Any even better deal is their $199 midweek season pass
for more frequent skiers and riders. Windham also
announced that its regular priced season passes will remain
the same price as last year.
Here's an interesting pitch they've come up with to sell
more season passes. Anyone who held an out of
New York State season pass last season and decides
to purchase a Windham season pass this season will
be given a $250 gift card to spend at mountain retail
and food and beverage outlets.
