metro area's drive market is currently offered by Catamount
ski area. An unrestricted, adult season pass is currently priced
at US$299,
This pass is also valid for night skiing--a nice touch for weekenders
who arrive on Friday afternoons. A junior season pass (7-13)
is available for US$259 with six and under at US$99.
Nestled in the Berkshire Mountains, on the border of New York
and Massachusetts, Catamount offers 99 percent snowmaking
coverage on 37 trails, an 1000-ft vertical drop served by six lifts
and boasts a 2.5 mile downhill run--the longest in the Berkshires.
