Elk Meadows comes complete with six lifts, 36 trails, two lodges,

It was once a fairly successful local ski area operation until
the new owners, Mount Holly Partners tried to make it in to
a ritzy private club.
That didn't fly with potential members and the Mount Holly
boys filed for bankruptcy protection.
