BROMLEY'S $229 SEASON PASS

September 26th 2011 14:23
About a decade ago, US$199 ski area season passes were all
the rage. Ski areas discounted their "admission tickets" to the
action to get customers in the door. Once there, marketing
directors had high hopes they would buy overpriced hamburgers,
drinks and forget-me-not items from the onsite ski shop.

Over the years, the one-ninety-niner pass faded from the ski
and ride scene but this year, Vermont's Bromley Mountain has
come back with a US$229 Midweek Season Pass.

Their discounted pass is valid Monday through Friday except
during two holiday weeks. The pass also includes a few perks:

--10% off retail purchases
--The pass is valid on Martin Luther King Monday.
--Pass holders can purchase 1/2 price midweek tickets at
Jiminy Peak in the Berkshires.
--On March 24th, the Midweek Pass is valid seven days per week.

This pass is a great deal for the money. After October 12, the
price goes up though: US$329. Passes can be purchased online.
