OKEMO'S ULTRA PASS DEAL

March 30th 2010 12:09
Vermont's Okemo Mountain is presently hawking a rather pricey,
season pass product, they call an "Ultra Pass." The going rate
until April 30 is US$1,299.

It's an unrestricted season pass product that's good for far more
than the rather tame broad slopes Okemo offers. The Ultra is
also valid at Crested Butte, Mount Sunapee and Stratton.

To entice more buyers at this hefty price, Okemo is throwing
in three free lift tickets for pass holders' friends and a US$25
retail credit to use around the ski area.

If you are an eastern U.S. skier who visits Okemo, Stratton

and Mount Sunapee throughout the winter and have your sights
set on say, a one week getaway to Crested Butte in Colorado,
the pass is a good value.

Just make sure you use it, or you know, you lose the value
you paid months upfront for.

SUMMER SKI IN AUSTRIA

March 26th 2010 13:03
If you are a good skier hoping to bring your skiing technique to the
next level, consider attending a reasonably priced summer racing
camp on Austria's Hintertux glacier.

The five day camps for juniors and adults are coached by world-class
Austrian race coaches. Camp season commences July 4 and runs
through August 12.

For E$535 per person, participants receive five days of lifts, coaching,
hotel accommodations, video analysis and the opportunity to demo
the latest Austrian made equipment.

Hintertux recently installed a new six-pack chairlift with bubble domes

to protect riders from the high alpine weather variations.

vanity memberships which include such nonsense as club jackets,
